1 box Barilla® Thick Spaghetti
4 tbs Extra virgin olive oil
1 cup Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, chopped
1 can (28 oz) San Marzano tomatoes
3 slices White bread, no crust, diced
1 ¼ cup Parmigiano cheese, grated, divided
1 lb Grass fed beef 80/20
2 Link Italian sausage, off the casing
1 tbs Parsley, chopped
12 leaves Basil, sliced
To taste Salt and pepper

Step 1

In a saucepot gently fry onion with olive oil for five minutes, add 1 clove of chopped garlic, keep sautéing and one minute later add crushed tomatoes. Add less than one cup of water, salt and pepper and bring to simmer.

Mix and when all comes together (very important to not overmix), shape 2,5 cm size meatballs. Add meatballs to tomato sauce, simmer until thoroughly cooked, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile cook pasta according to directions. Drain and toss with meatballs sauce.
