Serves 4

1 Box Barilla® Elbows​
3 Cups Kosher heavy cream​
1 Cup Kosher white cheddar cheese, grated​
¾ Cup Kosher Monterrey Jack cheese, grated​
¼ Cup Kosher Parmigiano, grated​
TIP Salt , white pepper, to taste
1/2 Panko breadcrumbs​
1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbs butter​
1 Clove minced​
1 Tsp parsley, chopped

Method

Step 1

Cut the Cheddar cheese into small cubes and in a small pot heat the milk added with a pinch of salt.​

In a pot, melt the butter, add the flour caring about mixing  well together and avoid clumps. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on a low heat to obtain a “Roux” sauce.​

Step 3

Add milk little by little and mix well with a whisk to get the béchamel until a creamy texture, then add the cheddar and grated parmigiano cheese, together with the spices (nutmeg, pepper and salt) .​

Step 4

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.​

Step 5

Pour in the cheesy béchamel sauce previously prepared and mix delicately. ​

Step 6

Pour pasta into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish, sprinkle with grated Parmigiano cheese and breadcrumbs. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 400° F for about 20 minutes.​
