320g (11,3 oz) Barilla® Spaghetti No. 5
150 g Guanciale or pancetta (cubes or sticks)
150g Bacon (cubes or sticks)
4 Egg yolks
100 g Lactose Free Pecorino or other aged sheep milk cheese (naturally lactose-free)
To taste Black pepper
To taste Salt

Step 1

Here are six easy steps to cook a delicious and Lactose-free carbonara pasta:

In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks with a pinch of salt and 2/3 of the grated Pecorino cheese.

Cook the guanciale or pancetta cubes or sticks in a large skillet over medium heat. Go on until the fat has melted. Last but not least, fry it lightly.

Cook Spaghetti perfectly "al dente" in boiling salted water. Then drain them, and remember to set aside a little bit of cooking water.

Pour pasta into the skillet together with the bacon and mix with care.

Turn off the heat, add the egg mixture and the cooking water you previously set aside. Stir everything for just about 30 seconds.
