Ingredients

320 g (11,3 oz) Barilla® Penne rigate
100g Barilla® or home made Genovese Pesto
300g cherry tomatoes, halved
170g feta cheese
90g black olives, pitted and halved
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
to taste Salt

For a home made Genovese Pesto

30g basil leaves
15g pine nuts
15g Parmigiano cheese, grated
15g Pecorino cheese, grated
1 /2 clove of garlic
200 ml EVO

Method

Step 1

Start by blending the pine nuts and garlic in a blender. Add the basil leaves, washed and dried, and EVO without turning off the blender. Add the grated Parmigiano cheese and Pecorino cheese and adjust the density by adding more oil if necessary.

Step 3

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta one minute less than package directions.
